2020 Conference Flyer & Programme

The SRT Annual Educational Conference is a Conference that is organised by the SRT Committee and is truly a meeting where radiology trainees are the primary focus. The programme is designed entirely with trainees in mind and speakers are invited based on their ability to provide engaging and enjoyable teaching to trainees. Strongly supported by the RCR, issues relevant to radiology trainees will also be discussed.

The event also enables radiology trainees to showcase their work and present at a National Conference. Every year we are supported by the British Subspecialty Radiology Societies who sponsor poster prizes at our conference.

Our 2020 Programme covers a wide variety of specialties and interests, aimed at helping trainees through on-calls, exams and day to day clinical practice.

We are delighted to be featuring 8 of the Royal College of Radiologists’ Traveling Professors at our 2020 Conference, which is the largest number we have ever featured! The Traveling Professors have been selected through a competitive process, and, as in their name, travel around the UK promoting their specialty and teaching to trainees and consultants alike.

We are thrilled to announce that our Keynote Speaker for 2020 is Dr Raman Uberoi (Co-Founder of The SRT) and will be delivering a presentation on Interventional Radiology.

We are honoured to welcome Dr Jeanette Dickson (RCR President), who will be opening the Conference and delivering the President’s Address on Monday 11th May.

This year, we have further developed our workshops which supplement the main speaker programme, featuring 7 unique workshops, including 2 of which are new: International Radiology and the Endovascular Intervention Simulator. A list of all of our workshops can be found below.

  • Interventional Radiology
  • Endovascular intervention simulator
  • US-guided breast intervention
