Essay Competition 2024/25 Winners

The SRT runs an annual essay competition, designed to spark creative flows and provide an opportunity for resident doctors and medical students to earn a fantastic prize. For 2024/2025, two topics were available:

Title 1 - The Future of Radiology Education: Adapting to Technological Advances and Evolving Roles

This essay could explore how radiology education and training must evolve to keep pace with technological advancements and changing healthcare landscapes.

Title 2 - Radiology to the Rescue: Our Role in Global Disasters and Local Emergencies

​This essay could address how global health crises, such as pandemics and natural disasters, as well as local emergencies, including mass casualty events and sporting injuries at major events like the Olympics, affect radiology services.
