Frequently asked Questions
1. Is it possible to just attend one day of the conference? We do not have single day tickets available this year. We do encourage you to attend both days to maximise the educational value but you will not be penalised as long as you register attendance.
2. I have an abstract accepted for poster presentation, why do I have to submit an electronic version and bring a printed one? All final posters must be submitted by the extended deadline of 20th April 2025 to allow the respective subspecialty society committee sufficient time to judge and award respective prizes. We ask you to bring a printed copy for easy viewing by all conference attendees.
3. I have been asked to deliver a short oral presentation, what does this mean? We are excited to introduce short orals to our upcoming conference. These will take place on day 2 of the conference. There will be an education session and an audit session each consisting of 6 presentations. Presentations should last 3 minutes, and this will be followed by 2 minutes Q&A. Presenters can opt to present using their poster or alternatively create slides to aid their presentation. If you are creating slides please send these to secretary@thesrt.co.uk by 5th May. All submissions accepted for short oral presentation are also accepted as a poster with upload deadline of 20th April.
4. I have been asked to deliver an oral presentation, what does this mean? The oral presentations will take place as a dedicated session on day 2 of the conference. There will be 10 presentations each lasting 6 minutes followed by 2 minutes Q&A. Please send these to secretary@thesrt.co.uk by 5th May. All submissions accepted for oral presentation are also accepted as a poster with upload deadline of 20th April.
